Artwork Requirements

For the quickest turnaround, please upload:

• High-resolution PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, or print-ready JPG/PNG files
• Files built to the correct size
• Fonts outlined or embedded
• Images at 300 DPI (or appropriate large-format resolution)
• Artwork that requires little to no editing

Simple text changes, color changes, or basic layouts can usually be completed quickly.

If your artwork requires significant design work, recreation, or file repair, additional graphic design charges may apply and could affect production times. We will contact you with an estimate before any additional work begins.

Many Sign Fox orders are produced on tight deadlines.

If our design team has questions about your artwork, you agree to be available by phone or email during normal business hours. Prompt communication helps us keep your project moving and ensures we can meet your requested turnaround time.

Delays in approving proofs or responding to questions may delay production.

Artificial intelligence is a great tool—but not every AI-generated image is suitable for professional printing.

Many AI-generated images are low-resolution raster files that cannot be enlarged for large-format printing or converted into cut-ready vector artwork without additional design work.

If you upload AI-generated artwork that requires recreation, vectorization, or extensive editing, additional graphic design charges may apply. We will always provide an estimate before proceeding.

By submitting artwork through Sign Fox, you confirm that:

• You own the artwork or have permission to use it.
• Any AI-generated content does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.
• You accept full responsibility for the commercial use of the artwork you submit.

Sign Fox reserves the right to refuse artwork that cannot be reproduced at professional quality or that may violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.

Not sure if your artwork is print-ready? Upload it anyway! Our team will review every order and let you know if any adjustments are needed before production begins.

Proofs are sent through our Customer Portal.  You must approve them on this portal before it goes to print if you request a proof.  You will receive login information for your portal through email.  Please check your email for this information.  Sometimes it will go to your SPAM folder so please check there as well.  You can also check the production process through the portal for updates.
